Tracy Maitland is the President and Chief Investment Officer of Advent Capital Management, a leading fundamental credit manager that invests in convertible, high yield and equity strategies. Maitland has over 30 years of industry experience and has essentially devoted his entire career to convertible securities. Prior to founding Advent, he was a Director in the Convertible Securities Department in the Capital Markets Division at Merrill Lynch, where he was instrumental in introducing convertibles as an asset class to major institutional investors worldwide. He has also worked closely with Icon Mann, an organization committed to positively transforming the dialogue and imaging of African Americans through content and community engagement.
