Warren Pies is Co-Founder and Strategist of 3Fourteen Research, a next generation investment research firm that combines unique macro insights and rigorous data science. In his role, he works closely with a team of analysts, data scientists and developers who are experts in machine learning, time series analysis, and application development. Prior to co-founding 3Fourteen, he was Chief Energy Strategist at Ned Davis Research, a leading independent research firm, where he built commodity-related studies, models, and unique indicators. He was responsible for NDR's energy recommendations and positions, where he combined proprietary fundamental, technical, and macro indicators in identifying major investment themes and market trends affecting the capital markets. He also writes commodity publications with a particular focus on crude oil, natural gas, and energy sector equities, including MLPs.
