Alexander Campbell is the Founder and CEO of Rose AI, a cutting-edge cloud data platform that leverages generative AI to help users find, visualize, and share data. He was also the Founder and CIO of Black Snow Capital, a systematic global macro hedge fund. He is a data-driven investor who bases his investment thesis on machine learning and data-driven technologies. Campbell is a veteran commodities analyst with extensive industry experience. Previously, he was Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Thrive Capital, a venture capital investment firm focused on internet and software investments. Before that, he was Head of Commodities and Co-Founder of the Dots Team at Bridgewater Associates.

EARLY CAREER
Campbell started his career at Lehman Brothers as a proprietary equity derivatives trader where he traded convertible bonds, commodities, and volatility.
At Lehman Brothers, he managed both discretionary and systematic strategies for a variety of asset classes, responsible for 25% of PnL over a nine-month period.
In order to invest the firm’s capital in various long/short, stock derivatives, and convertible bond strategies, he identified investments, constructed financial models, and investigated economic trends.
