Alyssa Cutright is Vice President of Global Payments at Airbnb, the world's largest online alternative accomodation travel agency. Prior to joining Airbnb, she was Vice President of Global Payments at eBay where she led the platform’s global strategy and operations of billing and payments. Alyssa has a proven track record of more than 30 years of industry leadership roles in strategy, general management, product, engineering and operations in the fintech and ecommerce spaces. Previously, she also led Square’s International expansion as well as spent 12 years at PayPal in a variety of critical roles, including Financial Services, Risk Management, and the North America Product teams.
Alyssa was Vice President of Global Payments and Risk at eBay, where she strategized, developed and delivered the complete end to end payments strategy form the company.
She acted in capacity as CEO of the regulated payments entity, accountable for the entire P&L from inception and operated the business from no revenue to the delivery of over $2B actualized annual revenue with over $400M in operating profit.
She also led the building of a modern, customer centric payments platform and migrated 23M existing global sellers over a 4 year period.
She negotiated multiple global and local partner deals to support launch with exceptional terms.
Alyssa served as Vice President at Paypal, responsible for consumer and business product management and integration including product specification, revenue growth & user experience.
She led a return to customer centric product design and local market advocacy, and created and drove associated road maps reflecting new business strategies.
She was also responsible for all fraud and credit exposure for consumers, businesses and the PayPal network.
EARLY CAREER
Alyssa served as COO of Plastiqs, responsible for gaining traction in the US market and scaling the business and company.
She also coached Plastiqs' co-founders on leadership and general management, and helped drive company revenues and valuation growth.
She was Vice President at Square, responsible for the creation and execution of Square's strategy to expand beyond the United States.
She served as Vice President at Wells Fargo, where she managed middle market & large corporate client portfolios, drove electronic payments integration of Wells Fargo and NorWest.
