Anatoly Yakovenko is Co-Founder and CEO of Solana, the fastest blockchain in the world which is changing the world of crypto and decentralized finance. Anatoly has over 10 years of experience in building high performance operating systems. Prior to launching Solana, he led the development of operating systems at Qualcomm, distributed systems at Mesosphere, and compression at Dropbox. In addition, his notable works include holding 2 patents for high performance operating systems protocol. He was a core developer for BREW which powered every CDMA flip phone (100m+ devices), and led development of tech that made Project Tango (VR/AR) possible on Qualcomm phones.

  • Built critical features such as application sandboxing, device driver framework, interprocess communication, system call tracing tools, IDL compilers.

  • Implemented various network protocols such as SIP/RTP/HTTP, and high performance logging and tracing tools.
