Anna Wong is the Chief U.S. Economist for Bloomberg Economics. Prior to joining Bloomberg in 2021, she was a Principal Economist at the Federal Reserve Board, Chief International Economist at The White House Council of Economic Advisers, and Deputy Director of the Office of International Economic Analysis at the United States Department of the Treasury. Wong is a recognized economist, widely quoted in the media and published in refereed academic journals.
EARLY CAREER
Prior to the Federal Reserve Board, she served as Chief International Economist at the Council of Economic Advisers at The White House.
She served as Deputy Director of the Office of International Economic Analysis at the U.S. Treasury.
She was a Teaching Assistant for the Executive MBA Program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
She also served as an International Economist for the US International Trade Commission and a Research Analyst at the Peterson Institute for International Economics.
