Anne Richards is the Vice Chair of Fidelity International, where she helps the organization with its key external relationships and strategic partnerships. Richards is one of the most senior women in the UK's funds industry and a strong proponent of ESG investing. She has over three decades of experience as an analyst, portfolio manager, and CIO in the financial sector with global names including JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, Aberdeen Asset Management and M&G Investments. She has also done research analysis, portfolio management, and asset allocation with a number of blue-chip companies.

EARLY CAREER
Richards is a Chartered Engineer and began her career as a Research Fellow at CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research.
She served as the CEO of M&G Investments and Director of its parent company, Prudential plc.
She was Global CIO, Head of EMEA and Director of Aberdeen Asset Management, as well as Co-CEO and Director of Edinburgh Fund Managers Plc.
She is a former Chair of the UK Financial Conduct Authority’s Practitioner Panel and was appointed a Board Member of the Institute of International Finance.
