Aron Landy is the CEO of Brevan Howard, a leading global alternative investment management platform specializing in global macro. Landy has sat at the heart of one of the world's most successful and most publicity-shy hedge funds. He has worked closely with billionaire star trader Alan Howard at a firm that for years was regarded as the gold standard of macro trading, making billions of dollars in profits. He joined the firm in 2003 and served as its Chief Risk Officer until 2019. Previously, he managed a market-neutral equity fund at Millennium Global Investments and also held trading roles at Optimum Asset Management, Tokai Bank Europe, and BNP Paribas.

EARLY CAREER
He started his career in 1986 as a quantitative analyst at Charterhouse Bank.
He taught at the London Business School from 1999 to 2000.
He joined Tokai as a trader in the Swaps, Options and Proprietary Trading Group and was appointed Joint Head of the Derivative Arbitrage Department in his final year.
