Chuck Royce is the Founder and Chairman of Royce Investment Partners, a small-cap equity specialist that offers distinctive investment strategies with unique risk-return profiles designed to meet a variety of investors' needs. He is recognized as an industry pioneer in small-cap stocks and for his leadership in small-cap value investing for more than 50 years. Royce also serves as a Senior Advisor for Rockefeller Capital Management, helping advise the Rockefeller Global Family Office in its offering distinct solutions to ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Chuck has been the portfolio manager for Royce Pennsylvania Mutual Fund since 1972.
He continues to contribute his expertise as portfolio manager on four Royce mutual funds, three closed-end funds and the flagship fund, the Royce Pennsylvania Mutual Fund.
In September 2024, he will serve as the firm's Senior Advisor following his transition from day-to-day portfolio management responsibilities.
Chuck has enjoyed a long tenure of active mutual fund management.
He has maintained the use of a bottom-up approach to investing in small-cap and micro-cap stocks.
He focuses mainly on balance sheet strength, cash flow characteristics, and returns on invested capital when choosing stocks.
