Ed Swenson
Edward Swenson is Chief Operating Officer and accomplished entrepreneur having co-founded Dynasty Financial Partners, a leading integrated platform service company for independent RIAs. In his role, Ed is responsible internally for all technology, operational and client servicing relationships and externally for all outside vendor and technology relationships established for the firm. Additionally, he is the President of the Envestnet Advisor Services Exchange by Dynasty (ASx), focused on using data to empower advisors by accelerating enterprise value. Prior to launching Dynasty, he was responsible for the managed accounts and technology platforms within Citigroup Global Markets. Ed is a frequent speaker at industry events and is often quoted in various financial publications.

Ed Swenson also serves as a member of Dynasty's Board of Directors and as Chairman of their Operating Committee.
At Dynasty, he is responsible for the day-to-day execution at the firm as well as technology, capital, M&A and their strategic partnerships, new product development, and service team.
Prior to Dynasty, Ed was a Director at Legg Mason working within the Asset Management Division where he oversaw trading, rebalancing and distribution network communications for Smith Barney’s Multiple Discipline Accounts division.
