Florian Bartunek is Founding Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Constellation Asset Management, one of the most traditional equity managers focused on generating long-term value through investments in Brazilian companies. Florian has over 30 years of experience in the industry. Known for his fundamentalist stance, he has successfully run the same strategy since 1991 and has one of the longest track records as an equity portfolio manager in Brazil. Prior to founding Constellation, he was a Partner at Banco Pactual, now BTG Pactual, where he was also Head of Research, Proprietary Trader, and Manager of all equity portfolios/funds including a segregated portfolio for George Soros.

Florian founded Constellation in 1998 as Utor Investments, a proprietary fund for the founders of 3G.
In 2002, Florian and Lemann decided to found Constellation, opening their successful strategy to external investors.
The company manages long-only and long-biased strategies with a fundamental bias investment approach.

EARLY CAREER
During Florian's time at Pactual, he managed the Andrômeda Fund (highest ranked equity fund in Brazil for three consecutive years), the Infinity Fund (highest ranked Brazilian equity offshore fund for two consecutive years) and a segregated portfolio for George Soros.
He was a Professor of a Value Investing course at INSPER University in São Paulo.
He was President of the Paulista Chapter of YPO – Young Presidents Organization and Director of the International Department for the Brazilian Investment Banking Association – ANBID, predecessor to Anbima.
