Gaston Kroub
Gaston Kroub is a Founding Partner of Kroub, Silbersher & Kolmykov, an intellectual property litigation firm, and Markman Advisors, a leading consultancy on patent issues for the investment community. Gaston also writes the weekly “Beyond Biglaw” column for Above the Law and “Markman Note” newsletter forMimesislaw.com. Prior to co-founding KSK and Markman Advisors, he spent years as a Partner at Greenberg Traurig and Locke Lord. As an intellectual property litigator and counselor, Gaston’s practice is focused on IP litigation and counseling, with lead-counsel level experience across an array of technologies and industry sectors. He also has deep experience in successfully handling patent, trade secret, trademark, and copyright cases through trial and appeal throughout the United States.

He has significant litigation expertise involving foreign companies, including experience in patent, trademark, and tradema secret cases involving European, Asian, and Israeli parties.
His successful litigation record extends to matters before the USPTO and Asian patent offices, including China and Taiwan.
Gaston is also an active speaker and writer on IP-related topics, as well as on general patent litigation issues.
