Harry Clark is the Executive Chairman of Clark Capital Management, a family and employee-owned investment management firm that provides investment strategies designed to help high-net-worth investors. Harry founded the firm in 1986 as an independent investment advisor with the objective of helping advisors deliver successful outcomes to their clients. Aiming to provide the highest quality of service to investors, Harry emphasized independent market research and in-depth economic analysis through the development of traditional and innovative investment strategies that address the opportunities and challenges of constantly changing markets. He has over 30 years of investment management experience, beginning his career in 1970 at Hornblower, Weeks, Hemphill, Noyes followed by Blythe Eastman Dillon, Paine Webber and lastly Merrill Lynch. Harry has often been sought after for commentary and interpretation of the markets, and has contributed to articles in a number of business journals and newspapers.
At Clark Capital Management, Harry serves as a Member of the Investment Team, the Board of Directors, and the Executive Team.
During his tenure at Hornblower, Weeks, Hemphill and Noyers, he did independent research and developed proprietary equity market models.
He later moved to Blythe, Eastman, Dillon in 1975, and transitioned to Merrill Lynch in 1983 where he concurrently formed Clark Capital.
He has been a frequent guest on CNBC and CNN™ and contributed to Business Week, the Chicago Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, and the Financial Times.
He earned his Certified Financial Planner designation and holds Series 7, 24 and 65 securities designations.
He earned a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MS degree in Mechanical Engineering with a nuclear specialty from Villanova University.
