Justin Overdorff is a Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, a multi-stage venture capital firm focused on accelerating disruptive innovations and trends. He leads the firm's Fintech practice and builds on its portfolio investments in companies such as Affirm and Carta. Justin has experience in business development and operating roles across marketplaces, SaaS, and fintech. Prior to Lightspeed, he served as a top executive at Stripe, a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. He catalyzed some of the company’s largest and most profitable strategic partnerships, including relationships with WooCommerce, Xero, Amazon, and Facebook. Justin was a Growth Equity Investor at Summit Partners in Boston and a Fixed Income Trader at Bank of America.
Justin joined Stripe to lead the firm's Business Development and Strategic Partnerships deals.
He incubated several new areas of business innovation, including Stripe's entry into small business lending with the launch of Stripe Capital and the launch of the firm's issuing platform.
He also led Stripe's M&A and Investing practice to deploy Stripe's balance sheet capital for strategic acquisitions and investments in early stage technology companies.

Justin was a Director of Corporate and Business Development team at Yelp, executing on key partnerships with Amazon, Samsung, Nokia, and T-Mobile.
He led the team focused on strategic and product partnerships across consumer, mobile, content, API platform, monetization, and international markets.
He also incubated and launched a data licensing business that eventually grew to $30M in revenue per year.

Before Stripe and Yelp, he focused on Business Development and Operations at TechStars, a highly selective startup accelerator.
He was a Senior Associate at Summit Partners, where he identified, sourced, and executed investment opportunities for a $300 million venture fund.
He served in the Global Structured Finance division of Bank of America, where he analyzed collateral in execution of $16B in mortgage-backed securitizations as primary analyst.
