Liz Young is Head of Investment Strategy at SoFi, a digital personal finance company that offers the speed, selection, content and convenience that only an integrated digital platform can provide. In this role, Liz develops and delivers both economic and market insights for the company. Prior to joining SoFi, she was a Director of market Strategy for BNY Mellon Investment Management, where she worked directly with the firm’s Chief Economist to formulate and deliver economic and market views to external audiences. She also focused on educating investors on current macroeconomic themes and their effects on capital markets. Liz has been a regulator contributor on CNBC and across other financial media outlets. She is a dynamic public speaker who’s able to translate complex concepts and strategy to a variety of audiences.

She was a Portfolio Analyst at Baird, responsible for due diligence for the firm’s recommended manager programs and discretionary model platform.
She served as a Research Analyst at BMO, where she performed economic and market Research for the firm's Chief market Strategist and Investment Strategy Committee.
She began her own investment journey through auto-investing. At 21, she was working part-time during school as a bank teller.
