Michael Mauboussin is the Head of Consilient Research at Counterpoint Global within Morgan Stanley Investment Management and has served as an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Columbia Business School since 1993. With nearly four decades of Wall Street experience as a prominent investment strategist, Mauboussin is widely recognized for applying multidisciplinary thinking, behavioral science, and complex systems research to investment analysis and decision-making. His distinguished institutional career includes leadership roles as Director of Research at BlueMountain Capital Management, Managing Director and Head of Global Financial Strategies at Credit Suisse, and Chief Investment Strategist at Legg Mason Capital Management. In addition to his corporate and academic contributions, Mauboussin serves as Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Trustees at the Santa Fe Institute, a world-renowned multidisciplinary research center focused on complex adaptive systems.
