Nelson Chu is the Founder and CEO of Percent, a global leader in financial infrastructure solutions in the private credit markets. Through Percent, Nelson has built a marketplace to revolutionize private credit by leveraging technology and data to enable efficient price discovery and funding for originators of any size. Prior to launching his company, he was the founder of Lumenary, a strategy consulting firm specializing in helping companies build products and raise capital for growth, creating over $1B in equity value. He began his career at several of the top financial services firms, including Bank of America’s Global Wealth and Investment Management Division and BlackRock’s Fixed Income Portfolio Management’s Strategy Group. Nelson is an active angel investor and startup consultant, with notable investments including BlockFi, Care/Of, Clover Health, dv01, Eden Health, Plentina, Tala, and Uala.
