Peter Berezin is Chief Global Strategist and Director of Research at BCA Research, the leading independent provider of global investment insights. He focuses on analyzing global economic and financial market trends and runs the firm’s Global Investment Strategy service, BCA's best selling Strategy Service. He previously served as Managing Editor of The Bank Credit Analyst and helped to develop and launch BCA’s Equity Trading Strategy service. Prior to joining BCA Research, he worked as a Senior Global Economist with Goldman Sachs in New York. Berezin began his career at the International Monetary Fund where he was involved in program negotiations and surveillance, before moving to the research department to help produce the IMF’s flagship report, the World Economic Outlook.
Berezin is the Chief Strategist of the Global Investment Strategy service. He is also a member of BCA Research's Executive Committee.
He also oversees BCA’s Equity Trading Strategy service, which he helped develop and launch in 2015.
He has extensive experience in analyzing global economic and financial market trends and is widely quoted in the financial media.
Berezin spent seven years with the International Monetary Fund. He was involved in program negotiations and surveillance in a variety of countries with a special focus on bank restructuring in Asia.
He was also a member of the IMF’s Research Department, where he contributed to the fund’s flagship publication, the World Economic Outlook.
