Sonia Gardner
Sonia Gardner is Co-Founder, Managing Partner, and President of Avenue Capital Group, a private equity company based in New York City. Distressed investing has been the main focus of her professional career of more than 35 years. Gardner is also the Co-Founder of Amroc Investments. While at the firm, she was responsible for investing the partners’ capital and was active in the review and trading of the debt of hundreds of bankruptcies. She started her career in 1987 in the Bankruptcy and Corporate Reorganization Department of Cowen Inc.
