Amelia Bourdeau is Managing Director of Market Strategy at Diamond Standard, the producer of regulated and fungible diamond commodities. In her role, she is responsible for hedge fund and institutional coverage, as well as macro and diamond market research. Bourdeau has over 20 years of extensive financial market experience, with a solid background in macroeconomics and foreign exchange sales and trading. Throughout her career, she has advised some of the world's largest corporations, institutional hedge funds, and global private wealth family officers on macroeconomic trading, foreign exchange, and event risk. Prior to joining Diamond Standard, she served as Senior Advisor and Head of Client Development at Exante Data, and founded Market Compass, a provider of financial markets strategy and education. Before that, she held prominent strategist roles at Deutsche Bank and UBS, as well as institutional sales roles at Westpac and UniCredit.

Bourdeau started her career as an analyst in the International Finance Division at the Federal Reserve Board.
She was Head of Macro Strategy at Corus Capital Management and Senior Strategist at Lily Pond Capital Management.
She was Head of North American G10 FX Strategist for UBS and a member of the UBS Commodity Research Board.
She was Director and Senior Foreign Exchange Sales at UniCredit, based in New York City.
Prior to joining UniCredit, Bourdeau was a director of FX at Westpac Institutional Bank.
Bourdeau recently served as Vice President of Global Markets and Economist in the FX Macro Group at Deutsche Bank.
She was also the bank's economist for Canada, responsible for macroeconomic forecasting.
She also served as a foreign exchange strategist for the bank.
