Andrea Gentilini
Andrea Gentilini is Head of Quantitative Investments at Vontobel, overseeing systematic and hybrid multi-asset investment solutions. Gentilini is a seasoned leader and visionary in quantitative investment solutions with extensive experience in the asset management and fintech industries. Prior to Vontebel, he was the former CEO of Novus, a world leading portfolio analytics and intelligence platform, responsible for expanding the firm's global leadership in areas of analytics, data, and technology. Before that, he launched and managed a $500 million precious metals derivative fund for UBP, also serving as Chief Operating Officer for the bank's Asset Management division. He also served as an Executive Director at UBS, and a member of the management team at The Boston Consulting Group in New York and Zurich.

Following Novus' international expansion, Gentilini led the acquisition of Novus by SEI Investments in 2021.
He served as Managing Director for Union Bancaire Privée, where he launched and co-managed the first actively managed gold fund.
He led a global team at Barclays focused on developing hedge fund research and delivering advisory services.
At Barclays, he built and led the firm's Strategic Consulting business, an awarded team of professionals focused on delivering advisory services.
Gentilini also served as Senior Vice President for Lehman Brothers, where he developed and led execution of client segmentation initiatives.
