Andrew Saunders is President and Co-Founder of Castle Hill Capital Partners, a boutique advisory firm providing innovative and integrated solutions to aid the growth of alternative investment managers. He launched Castle Hill to focus exclusively on helping clients achieve their marketing objectives. In his role, Andrew spearheads the consulting services and capital introduction program of the firm, and focuses on hedge funds, private equity, private credit, specialty finance, venture capital and a range of special situations and co-investments. Prior to entering the financial services industry, Andrew spent four years in Malaysia and Indonesia as a teacher and entrepreneur. A proven strategic marketing consultant and capital raising professional, Andrew has raised capital from endowments, foundations, single-family offices and other sophisticated investors.
Andrew assists the core group of differentiated hedge fund strategies on all aspects of their marketing efforts.
His leadership responsibilities include business development, client relations, investor liaison, media relations and strategic partnerships.
Throughout his career, Andrew has facilitated $500mln+ in allocations in a challenging marketing environment.
Prior to founding Castle Hill, he was Head of Capital Introduction at Lazard, and had leadership roles at Direct Access Partners and EFX Prime Services.
His first position on Wall Street was with Taylor Rafferty, a boutique cross-border investor relations firm.
At Taylor Rafferty, he assisted senior management in implementing all aspects of their IR programs, including 12 ADR listings and IPOs on the NYSE and NASDAQ.
He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation (CAIA) and is the head of the New York Chapter with ~1,000 members.
Andrew holds the Series 7, 63, and 24 licenses.
