Ben Inker is the Co-Head of Asset Allocation and a Portfolio Manager at GMO, a Boston-based global investment management firm. In his role, Inker oversees GMO’s diversified suite of asset allocation strategies and plays a key role in portfolio construction, risk management, and long-term capital allocation. He is also a Partner at GMO and serves on the firm’s Board of Directors. Inker began his career at GMO in 1992 after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Yale University. Over more than three decades at the firm, he has held a series of senior leadership positions, including Analyst on GMO’s Quantitative Equity and Asset Allocation teams, Portfolio Manager across multiple equity and multi-asset strategies, and Chief Investment Officer of Quantitative Developed Equities. A respected voice in institutional investing, Inker regularly shares insights on market valuations, growth versus value investing, asset class risk premia, and the risks of market concentration.
