Brian Estes
Brian Estes is the CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Off the Chain Capital, a crypto fund focused on finding value opportunities across the industry. At Off the Chain Capital, he is responsible for overseeing the blockchain investments for 60 partners that are top-rated in performance by Vision Hill Group. Estes has been a venture capitalist in blockchain for 9 years and has advised, mentored and/or financed 6 blockchain companies that have a combined value of over $100B today. He also has multiple software patents. Prior to his involvement in blockchain in 2014, he was a leading endowment and foundation asset manager who was ranked in the top 1/10th of 1% of Morningstar asset managers between 2004 - 2014. In addition to running blockchain asset funds, he teaches blockchain and digital asset investing classes at University of Cambridge UK, Washington University, and Morgan State University’s Center of Blockchain and Financial Technology.

Estes started his financial career as a financial advisor and institutional equity broker at A.G. Edwards & Sons in St. Louis, Missouri.
After rising through the ranks to become the youngest senior vice president in the history of A.G. Edwards, Mr. Estes became president of Estes Financial in 2004.
He was a leading endowment and foundation asset manager who was ranked in the top 1/10th of 1% of Morningstar asset managers between 2004 to 2014.
