Dr. Daniel Yergin is a highly-respected authority on energy policy, international politics and economics, and a Pulitzer Prize winner. Dr. Yergin is Vice Chairman of S&P Global, one of the world's largest research and information companies, where he has oversight for the Commodity Insight research at S&P. He also serves as Chairman of S&P Global’s CERAWeek conference, which CNBC has called “the Super Bowl of energy”. He was the Founder of Cambridge Energy Research Associates, which became part of IHS Markit in 2004 and then S&P Global in 2022. He also served on the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board under four presidents. Dr. Yergin is known around the world for his book The Prize: The Epic Quest for Oil Money and Power, which was awarded the Pulitzer Prize. It became a number one New York Times best seller and has been translated into 20 languages.
