Darius Dale is the Founder and CEO of 42 Macro, an online research macro company that delivers data-driven, macro risk management. The firm leverages Dale's "Quantamental" framework to help investors make informed asset allocation and portfolio construction decisions. Prior to launching 42 Macro, he spent nearly 12 years at Hedgeye Risk Management, a leading independent financial research system, most recently as Partner and Managing Director. During his time at Hedgeye, he also served as the Sector Head of the Macro team and was a core contributor to the firm's economic outlook and associated investment strategy views. HIs expertise on markets and economies has led him to become a frequent contributor to various financial media outlets, and a featured speaker at numerous public and private industry conferences.

  • At Hedgeye, he assisted with asset allocation research as well as Developed Asia and Emerging Markets strategy.

  • He developed the firm's GIP Model quad-based economic outlooks - key inputs to the firm's asset allocation and portfolio construction recommendations.

  • He also organized the content strategy and marketing initiatives of Hedgeye's institutional macro research product.

  • He was a 3-time recipient of Hedgeye's "Eye On" trophy, awarded to the top-performing member of the research team (2010, 2011, 2018).
