Dave Samra
Dave Samra is the Managing Director of Artisan Partners and the Founding Partner of the firm’s International Value Team, one of its most respected and high-performing investment franchises. He serves as the Portfolio Manager of the Artisan International Value Fund, a strategy he has led since its inception in 2002 and which has earned multiple industry awards for long-term performance. Widely recognized as a leading figure in global value investing, Samra is known for his disciplined, research-driven investment philosophy, which focuses on identifying undervalued international companies with strong balance sheets, durable competitive advantages, and sustainable long-term growth potential. Before joining Artisan Partners, Samra served as a Portfolio Manager and Senior International Equities Analyst at Harris Associates, where he refined his global value investing framework. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Portfolio Manager in the Global Equities Division at Montgomery Asset Management, gaining extensive experience in international markets.
