Greg Franks is the Managing Partner, President, and Chief Operating Officer of Snowden Lane Partners, an independent wealth management firm serving high net worth clients. Prior to Snowden Lane, Franks spent 28 years at Merrill Lynch in senior leadership positions in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East. He served as Managing Director of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, responsible for over 5000 advisors, $450 billion in assets and $4 billion in annual revenue. Before that, he was a Maryland State President for Bank of America, where he was responsible for integrating the various lines of businesses into a cohesive platform to better serve the clients of both the consumer and commercial bank and the wealth management business.
In his 28 years with Merrill Lynch, Franks held various positions including Western Division Director, Mid-Atlantic Division Director and Regional Managing Director.
He held positions in London, England where he was Executive Director of the wealth management office and in Dubai, U.A.E., where he was Regional Director of the Middle East.
In 2012, he retired from his dual position as the mid-Atlantic President at Bank of America and director of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management's western division.
