Hector Fernandez is a well-known executive leading global commercial and finance teams across industries in complex environments. Hector is the Chief Financial Officer of the Wealth Management and Investment Services at U.S. Bank, the fifth largest banking institution in the United States. Prior to joining U.S. Bank in 2022, he was Chief Financial Officer of Optum Specialty, Infusion and Frontier at UnitedHealth Group, a health care and well-being company. He also served as President and Global Leader of Risk Management at Cargill, a global food corporation. During his tenure at Cargill, he was chair of the Cargill Hispanic & Latino Council, and founded Cargill’s Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis group as well as taking on divisional CFO responsibilities. He also led a team that partners with Cargill's top leadership, delivering a wide range of financial and data-centric analysis.
