John Kiple is a Strategic Client Relationships Manager at Wolverine Asset Management, an alternative asset management firm that invests in various assets, including equity, credit, commodity, and volatility. In his role, he is responsible for Wolverine Fund's Capital Market and Syndicate allocations for convertible bonds, SPACS, and warrants. In addition, he serves as an Advisory Board Member at HighCrown, where they work on cognitive architectures to solve resource allocation. Prior to joining Wolverine in 2014, he was a Partner and Head of Trading at Satori Investment Partners. Before that, he was Managing Director and Head of Tactical Trading at UBS. His extensive experience in the derivatives markets creates a strategic advantage in risk management and portfolio construction.
EARLY CAREER
Prior to his current role at Wolverine, he was a portfolio manager responsible for trading a merger arbitrage and event-driven strategy to capitalize on market dislocations.
He also served as a Founding Partner and Portfolio Manager of Van Buren Advisors, a firm he co-founded in 2003.
He was Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at UBS, where he also served as Head of Merger Arbitrage, Event, and Derivatives Trading Strategies.
