Liqian Ren

Liqian Ren is Director of Modern Alpha at WisdomTree Investments, an ETF and ETP sponsor and asset manager. In her role, Ren leads and enhances WisdomTree's quantitative investment capabilities and serves as a thought leader for WisdomTree's Modern AlphaTM approach. With a background in quantitative investing and managing active funds, she works on implementing WisdomTree's strategies that combine the outperformance potential of active management with the benefits of the ETF structure. Prior to joining WisdomTree, Ren spent 12 years at Vanguard, most recently as Portfolio Manager in the Vanguard Quantitative Equity Group, where she managed the firm's factor funds and conducted research on factor strategies. Before that, she was an Associate Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Ren hosts the "China of Tomorrow" podcast, a window into the latest investing risks and opportunities in China, India and beyond. She is also a co-host on the Wharton Business Radio program "Behind the Markets" on SiriusXM 132 alongside Professor Jeremy Siegel.
