Rasheed Hammouda
Rasheed Hammouda is Head of Product at Compound Planning, where he leads the product team in the development and execution of product strategy at the company. Rasheed is a former advisor turned entrepreneur with a decade of experience in wealth and asset management. He specializes in commercially focused product development that spans customer segments as small as single license buyers to large publicly traded enterprises. Before joining Compound, Rasheed was the Co-Founder and CEO of BridgeFT, a WealthTech data and software provider. Under his leadership, BridgeFT oversaw over $50 billion in assets under management and nearly 300 clients.

Rasheed is an experienced builder, and brings a broad technologist's eye to problem solving and product development.
He brings a diverse set of experience as a consultant, analyst, and advisor in the industry prior to his work as an entrepreneur.
He serves as a guest lecturer and/or mentor on occasion at various institutions such as Northwestern University and DePaul University.
His professional experience includes work and training in financial and credit analysis, data analysis, excel modeling, market research, and corporate communications at environments.
As the former CEO of the firm, his role centered around corporate strategy, operations, and development.
He worked within the operations team to automate existing services, collaborate with developers to build new technology platforms, and build the firm's culture alongside the rest of the executive committee.
He and his team envisioned transforming financial data into actionable insights, elevating the work of advisors and tech companies that serve them.

Prior to BridgeFT, he was a Trust and Investment Advisor with PNC where he worked with high net worth clients within the firm's asset management group.
He worked as a journalist covering politics, economics, and investments in the Middle East for multionational trade publications.
He was a Columnist for Daily News Egypt, and an Attending Reporter at the Economist's Annual Egyption Government Roundtable.
