Simon Bowmaker is the Clinical Professor of Economics at the NYU Stern School of Business, where he teaches a broad range of applied microeconomics courses in the undergraduate and MBA programs. Before pursuing an academic career, he served as an economist specializing in applied economic modeling and data analysis techniques. Outside of the classroom, Bowmaker studies the working lives of economists to understand their contribution to the field and to society as a whole. This interest has led to his three most recent books.
