Sunil Singhania
Sunil Singhania is a veteran fund manager and Founder of Abakkus Asset Manager, an alpha focused asset manager investing in India. Sunil has over 25 years of fund management and Indian equity experience, and has been on the buy-side managing equity assets for the last 15 years. Prior to founding Abakkus, he was CIO at Reliance Mutual Fund where he oversaw around USD 11 billion of equity assets. Under his leadership, Reliance Growth Fund grew over 100 times in less than 22 years. Sunil is the first Indian to be appointed on the Global Board and Chairman of the Investment Committee of the CFA Institute, USA. He was the Promoter of The Association of NSE Members of India; a body of stock brokers. Currently, Sunil is the only Indian to be appointed on the IFRS Capital Market Advisory Committee (CMAC) till 2023.

In his role as Global Head of Equities, he oversaw equity assets and provided strategic inputs across Reliance Capital Group of companies.
He was instrumental in launching India funds in Japan, South Korea, and the UK, besides managing mandates from the US, Singapore, and other countries.
He was involved in funds under asset management, insurance, AIF and offshore assets.
He also led Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management's international efforts.
As Chairman of the Investment Committee, he oversaw over $400M worth of investments for the institute.
He was President of the Indian Association of Investment Professionals, a nonprofit making member organization of CFA charterholders in India.
He was part of a 15-member global committee that rewrote the Code of Ethics handbook of the CFA Institute in 2005 and 2009.
