Thomas Philippon is the Max L. Heine Professor of Finance at NYU Stern School of Business and a leading scholar in finance and macroeconomics. His research spans financial distress, systemic risk, government interventions during crises, asset markets, and corporate investment. In recent years, he has focused on the Eurozone crisis and the evolution of financial regulation. Philippon is the author of The Great Reversal and has published numerous widely cited papers in top academic journals, making him one of the most influential voices in modern economic and financial research.
