Amanda Tepper is the Founder and Managing Partner of Chestnut Advisory Group, a boutique management consulting firm dedicated to asset managers and investment solutions providers. With more than 25 years of experience across capital markets, Tepper has held several significant roles that led her to hone her expertise in asset management business development. Prior to founding Chestnut, she served as Global Director of the Senior Portfolio Management Team at AllianceBernstein, a group that crafted and delivered the firm’s investment insights to institutional and retail clients and consultants. Tepper developed a deep experience in sell-side equity research as an Associate Director of Equity Research at Bank of America and an Institutional Investor All-America Team – ranked equity analyst at JPMorgan.

Amanda founded Chestnut Advisory Group under the belief that an outstanding investor education effort is a crucial component of any successful asset management business today.
The firm enables their clients to tell a high return of investment story by creating materials to educate investors about what their clients are thinking and doing, and why.
Under her leadership, Chestnut provides bespoke advisory services in the areas of growth strategy, M&A, products and solutions, brand, implementation and leadership coaching and training.
EARLY CAREER
At AllianceBernstein, Amanda led the firm's product specialists as they marketed all of AB's investment products to institutional investors.
She also served as AB's emerging markets value specialist and served as a primary investor for U.S. institutional and retail value equity clients.
Before moving to the sell side, she was an Investment Banker in JPMorgan's retail industries group.
She began her Wall Street career on a bond trading desk, moving on to bond sales and investment banking before becoming an equity analyst.
