David Keller is the President and Chief Strategist of Sierra Alpha Research, a boutique investment research firm focused on managing risk through market awareness. He combines the strengths of technical analysis, behavioural finance, and data visualization to identify investment opportunities and enrich relationships between advisors and clients. He is also a CNBC Pro Conttributor, and he recaps market activity and interviews leading experts on his show “The Final Bar” on StockCharts TV. Previously, Keller was the Chief Market Strategist at StockCharts, the web's leading technical analysis and financial charting platform for online retail investors, where he helped investors minimize behavioral biases through technical analysis of the financial markets. Before that, he was Managing Director of Research for Fidelity Investments in Boston, where he managed the Technical Research Department as well as the legendary Fidelity Chart Room.

EARLY CAREER
Keller was Managing Director of Research at Fidelity Investments, where he managed the largest buy-side technical analysis team in the industry, advising portfolio managers with around $1.8 trillion in assets.
He has lectured extensively on technical analysis and behavioural finance as an Adjunct Professor at the Brandeis University International Business School in Waltham, Mass.
He was a Past President of the CMT Association and most recently served as a Subject Matter Expert for Behavioral Finance.
Prior to that David was a Technical Analysis Application Specialist with Bloomberg LP in New York and was a regular contributor to Bloomberg Markets magazine.
