Harry Melandri is an Advisor at MI2 Partners, a global independent macroeconomic research firm. In addition to his role, he contributes to MI2's research and serves as the moderator of Real Vision’s Insider Talks with Raoul Pal and Julian Brigden. Melandri has over 30 years of experience in the financial markets, having extensive expertise in macro and policy, central banking, fixed income and rates, emerging markets and derivatives, as well as volatility trading and quantitative analysis. Throughout his career, Melandri has held senior leadership roles in London, New York, and Moscow. He has extensive experience in G10 and emerging markets rates investment management, relative value, portfolio construction, strategy, and trading. Prior to MI2, he was Executive Director and Head of Latam Macro Trading at UBS, where he led a team of FX traders in New York, Mexico City, and Sao Paulo, generating gross revenues of $20M. He has also held senior roles in fixed income portfolio management at Deutsche Asset Management, Aberdeen Asset Management, and Brevan Howard.

Melandri was a Director at Credit Agricole, where he traded volatility and delta as a market maker in Latin America rates and volatility.
He was a Senior Trader at Brevan Howard, focused on investment mandates in South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Korea, and Singapore.
As Director and Global Rates Portfolio Manager at Aberdeen, he led a team in generating macro and relative value trades for the G20 fixed income markets.
He was a Director and Macro Strategist for Medley Global, where he provided clients with Macro intelligence and expert analysis on global Macro issues.
He has global experience and perspective in macro research, analysis and modelling skills across a range of fixed income asset classes.
He is an expert on risk and volatility management, and identifying asymmetric risk/return opportunities in both G10 and EM Rates.
