Jonas Thulin is Head of Asset Management at Erik Penser Bank, Sweden's leading independent and privately owned bank. In his role, Jonas is responsible for asset management, strategic, tactical allocation in all asset classes. He also created and launched Penser's sustainable asset management which reduced Co2 by 70%, and introduced machine learning, AI, and big data. Prior to joining Penser, he spent nearly a decade at Nordea, most recently as Head of Head of Asset Allocation at Nordea Bank Wealth Management where he was responsible for strategic and tactical asset allocation for equities, FX, rates, credits, and alternative strategies. Jonas has also served as Nordea's Senior Relationship Manager and Director of Financial Institutions, Head of Global Alpha Strategy, and Head of Strategy & Research at Nordea Markets, Sweden. Previously, he was a Director and Senior FX/FI Strategist at Crédit Agricole CIB, the corporate and investment banking arm of Crédit Agricole Group, where he derived and traded macro strategies for institutional investors and hedge funds.

As Director of Financial Institutions at Nordea, he was responsible for large institutions focused on risk management, hedging, and asset management.
He developed processes including strategic business development as well as product origination and coordinating internal/external processes.
As Head of Global Alpha Strategy, he covered global macro, analysis and trades in fixed income and foreign exchange and strategic product development.
He also led a team that covered credit, macro, forex, and interest rate forecasts, strategies, analysis, and research.

EARLY CAREER

Prior to joining Nordea, he worked at an investment bank in New York as Director and senior strategist for hedge fund strategies and trading.
He was a Chief Economist at Ericsson, responsible for forecasting the telecommunications market and working with financial forecasts.
At Ericsson, he also led the team in starting the Pension Trust where he worked with asset management and hedging.
He started his career as a teacher in economics at University of Queensland and University of Stockholm.
