Paul Tudor Jones is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Tudor Investment Corporation, one of the best known and most successful macro hedge funds. Jones is a legendary investor and hedge fund manager known for his macro trades, particularly his bets on interest rates and currencies. He is widely credited with predicting the stock market collapse on Black Monday in 1987 when the Dow Jones fell a whopping 22%. He got his start in the trading business on the floor of the former New York Cotton Exchange, under the tutelage of renowned cotton trader Eli Tullis. Jones is also an active philanthropist and Co-Founder of the Robin Hood Foundation, New York’s largest local poverty-fighting philanthropy.

Jones is a Portfolio Manager focusing on discretionary macro trading and is the principal risk taker for Tudor's flagship client strategy, Tudor BVI Global Fund, and Tudor Futures Fund.

EARLY CAREER

Jones began his career in 1976 on the trading floors of E.F. Hutton & Co.
He served as a member of the New York Fed Investor Advisory Committee on Financial Markets, and was on the Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association.
He was Chairman of the then New York Cotton Exchange and was instrumental in the creation of its Financial Instrument Exchange (FINEX) and the US dollar index futures contract.
Throughout his career, he has been featured in various media outlets and publications, including Forbes, Bloomberg, Fortune, The Times, CNBC, Business Insider, Bitcoin Magazine, and many more.
