Previously, Preston held a number of senior leadership positions at investment and trust companies, including serving as a Managing Director at Neuberger Berman and Lehman Brothers, where he was instrumental in the growth of the firms’ UHNW trust and wealth management divisions. Recognized for his contributions in the industry, Preston McSwain has been profiled in the Wall Street Journal, U.S. News, Barron's, and the Financial Times.

Earlier in his career, Preston founded a Trust Company for a regional bank and assisted in the launch of a bank mutual fund division.
He started his career at State Street Bank & Trust in institutional asset management.
