  • He owned and operated his own financial services consulting firm in Washington, D.C., advising financial services companies and corporate leadership.

  • Williams previously served under Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, advising on digital asset regulation and financial policy.

  • He worked in both the Senate and House of Representatives, holding positions under Senator Thom Tillis and former House Speaker John Boehner, focusing on financial policy.

  • He worked on issues related to the integration of technology in both insurance and financial institutions, and regulatory matters in the payments industry.

  • His regulatory work also extended to housing finance, BSA/AML, the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program, among other issues.
