David is a financial industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in banking, finance and asset management. His areas of expertise include high performance order management systems, compliance and risk, business strategy and program management. Previously, he worked with leading banks including HSBC, RBS, Barclays Investment Bank, Goldman Sachs, and Credit Suisse. David also served on the boards of several Singapore startups and organizations championing integration and equality between deaf and hearing people in all areas of life.
David launched Chaintai in 2018 to promote the adoption of compliant digital assets that utilize blockchain technology to modernize capital markets for banks, asset managers, and SMEs.
Under his leadership, Chintai has evolved into a comprehensive digital asset issuance and secondary trading solution for enterprises.
Chintai leads businesses into the regulated digital assets frontier, utilizing blockchain technology to enable traditional finance and innovative companies.

EARLY CAREER
David started his career as a Consultant at Accenture. He later moved to Merrill Lynch where he was involved in securities lending.
As an Analyst at Credit Suisse, he focused on equity derivatives and worked on the analysis and handling of structured notes and related products.
He was a Project Manager and Business Analyst at RBC Capital Markets, where he managed several projects for the front office within structured derivatives.
He also served as a Project Manager at Goldman Sachs, working on coordination, planning, and resourcing of large programs of work.
He was a Project Manager and Lead Analyst at Barclays, and a Business Analyst at Discretionary Wealth at HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management.
