Jens Nordvig is the Founder and CEO of Exante Data, a leading supplier of data-driven macro strategy for institutional investors globally. Jens is a leading macroeconomist and markets strategist with an unbroken track record spanning over two decades. He is also an expert economist specializing in foreign exchange markets and macroeconomic policy. Prior to launching Exante Data, he was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, a Senior Investment Associate at Bridgewater Associates, and Head of Fixed Income Research and Global Currency Strategy at Nomura Securities. Today, Jens is at the forefront of using artificial intelligence in connection with the financial market analysis within MarketReader, a market intelligence company he co-founded in 2021.
EARLY CAREER
He worked for 8 years at Goldman Sachs in London and New York, most recently as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Global Currency.
After Goldman Sachs, he became a Senior Currency Strategist at Bridgewater Associates.
Until 2016, he was the Global Head of FX Strategy and Head of Fixed Income Research, Americas at Nomura Securities, the global investment bank.
He was responsible for developing Nomura’s Research franchise in the Americas, and coordinating the delivery of market-leading content across product lines.
He has also taught several courses in macroeconomics and econometrics.

For five years running, including the worst of the European financial crisis, Jens was the #1 ranked currency strategist by Institutional Investor.
He received recognition as one of five sets of finalists in the Wolfson Economics Prize in 2012.

In 2001, he co-authored an economics textbook entitled Matematik og økonomi, and in 2003, he was awarded the U.K. Society of Business Economists' Rybczynski Prize for the best essay by a young economist.
In 2013, Nordvig authored The Fall of the Euro: Reinventing the Eurozone and the Future of Global Investing, published by McGraw-Hill.
