Matthew Waz is Senior Vice President, Head of Global Institutional Sales and Consultant Relations at Raymond James Investment Management, a global asset management company. In his roles, he is responsible for representing the strategies offered by Raymond James' affiliates to consultants and prospective institutional investors. Waz is an industry veteran who has over 25 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining Raymond James, he served as Managing Director of Institutional Sales and Consultant Relations at O'Shaughnessy Asset Management, leading the firm's California office and expanding OSAM's geographic and industry footprint. Before that, he held senior leadership and sales roles at First Pacific Advisors, Sunrise Capital Partners, and AXA Rosenberg Investment Management.
EARLY CAREER
Waz was SVP of Business Development at First Pacific Advisors, responsible for developing and maintaining institutional client relationships.
At FPA, his primary focus was on investment consultants as well as corporations, public funds, endowments, foundations and outsourced CIOs.
He was Director of Institutional Sales and Marketing at Sunrise Capital and Director of Consultant Relationships at AXA Rosenberg Investment Management,
Before that, he was VP of Consultant Relations at McMorgan & Co., and Director of Consultant Relations at RCM Capital Management.
