Tobias Carlisle is a widely recognized expert on deep value investing. He is the Creator of The Acquirer’s Multiple®, and Founder and Managing Director of Acquirers Funds, a deep value investment firm based in Los Angeles. He has extensive experience in investment management, business valuation, public company corporate governance, and corporate law. Prior to founding the forerunner to Acquirers Funds in 2010, Tobias was an analyst at an activist hedge fund, general counsel of a company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, and a corporate advisory lawyer.

Previously, he was a Founding Partner and Portfolio Manager at Carbon Beach Asset Management, a deep value investment firm.
He served as General Counsel for PIPE Networks, an Associate for Minter Ellison, and Legal Research Clerk at Corrs Chambers Westgarth.
He has advised on transactions across a variety of f industries in the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Australia, Singapore, Bermuda, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, and Guam.
