Vincent Deluard is Director of Global Macro Strategy at StoneX Group, a global financial services network formerly known as INTL FCStone. In his role, he authors a weekly commentary on global macro topics and advises pension funds on asset allocation and risk management. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Saint Mary's College of California and at Golden Gate University's Executive MBA Program. Prior to joining StoneX Group, Vincent served as Europe strategist for Ned Davis Research, where he created the firm’s Europe product. Before that, he was Executive Vice President for TrimTabs Investment, where he headed the firm’s quantitative research. Vincent is a global macro strategist and prolific commentator who is often quoted in various leading financial media publications.

NED DAVIS RESEARCH

  • Vincent served as Europe Strategist for Ned Davis Research Group, where he authored weekly publications on European markets.

  • His Europe publications quickly became among the most downloaded reports at NDR.

  • He designed proprietary trading models that combined fundamental, technical and macro indicators to identify major investment themes and market trends. 

  • He authored weekly in-depth reports on European equities, and promoted Europe Product to North American and European buy-side clients.

  • He earned the Euromoney Padraic Fallon Editorial Prize for his in-depth study of the investment opportunities offered by the European debt crisis in 2013. 


EARLY CAREER

  • At TrimTabs, he designed and traded large and profitable strategies based on supply and demand indicators for top-tier macro hedge funds.

  • He also founded and managed TrimTabs' Admiral Fund, responsible for risk management and investment decisions for global equities and currencies.

  • He was a subject matter expert on asset allocation for the level 3 of the CFA examination at the American College.
