Bond Market

The bond market is a financial marketplace where investors can trade in government-issued and publicly-traded debt securities. Governments normally issue bonds with the purpose of raising capital to pay down debts or fund infrastructural developments. Publicly-traded companies issue bonds when they need to finance business expansion projects or maintain ongoing operations.
