As head of Bospar's broadcast strategies program, he provides critical counsel to clients wanting to elevate their message and on-air appearance for the nation’s top-tier broadcast outlets. He is also the host of Bospar's Politely Pushy® podcast, where he delivers straight talks with CEOs, founders, IT experts and luminaries. Eric is a tech guru and veteran journalist who has been operating at the intersection of business, technology, data analytics, finance, and media. Prior to joining Bospar in 2021, he spent many years working in business media for CNBC and Bloomberg. As a television reporter for CNBC, Eric covered breaking and data-driven news across all industries and sectors. He came to CNBC from Bloomberg Media, where he was the Head of Data and Research for Bloomberg’s Television and Businessweek Magazine divisions. Before that, he worked on Wall Street as a trader, researcher, and hedge fund analyst. He worked in portfolio and risk management for Fortress Investment Group’s flagship macro hedge fund and as a proprietary trader for JP Morgan.

He was also CNBC TV’s sports business reporter, conducting interviews with league commissioners, team owners, industry executives, legendary athletes, and industry investors.
He also focused on telling data-driven stories on web and TV. He appeared across top NBC programs, including The Today Show, Morning Joe, the Colbert Report, and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.
He served in several different roles including data and research production management, assignment desk editor, magazine writer and editor, radio and TV reporter.
He also worked with Bloomberg Sports division to create custom predictive race analytics for NASCAR broadcast partners that aired during races.
He was also a statistics and data consultant to several NASCAR teams.
EARLY CAREER
Prior to joining the media business, he was a Portfolio and Risk Analyst at Fortress Investment Group, where he worked for Mike Novogratz, Fortress Macro Fund’s founder and chief investment officer.
At Fortress, he primarily focused on research, portfolio management, trade analysis, and execution trading. He also worked on data analysis and technology development.
He focused on proprietary trading for JP Morgan, working on long/short equity in the technology, media, and telecommunications sector.
