Jim O'Shaughnessy
Jim O’Shaughnessy is a Wall Street legend, research guru, and venture capitalist who has been in the finance industry since 1983. O’Shaughnessy is the Chairman and Co-Chief Investment Officer of O’Shaughnessy Asset Management, involved in all portfolio management and research decisions at the firm. He is also the Founder and CEO of O’Shaughnessy Ventures, an accelerator of creative ventures, and the Executive Chair of the board of directors at StabilityAI. O’Shaughnessy is recognized as one of America's leading financial experts and a pioneer in quantitative equity analysis. He has been dubbed as “world beater” and “statistical guru” by Barron’s, with expertise in the areas of quantitative equity analysis, portfolio management, research decisions, and investment models. Prior to founding OSAM, O’Shaughnessy was the Director of Systematic Equity at Bear Stearns Asset Management and a Senior Managing Director. Before that, he was the CEO and Chairman of Netfolio. O’Shaughnessy has published at least four books on investing, each praised as one of the best financial books of the year.
